FS17 John Deere 9R V2.0.0.5

Description: John Deere 9R V2.0.0.5

Basic tractor running standard scripts. Works well with both the hired hand and Courseplay (considering that Courseplay is still in development). Four engines (410 to 560 hp), numerous tire and wheel combinations (singles, duals and triples), and optional fertilizer tanks (non-functional for now) and front-end weights.

No log errors or warnings (thanks to rmckinney and 812farmer) and has been tested extensively during its conversion and edit. Depending on the plow/cultivator you use, and considering the 9R's light rearend, some tire and wheel configurations will work better than others (the Horsch LTP plow mod, for example, requires heavily weighted rear duals).

When used with the John Deere 2623VT plow/cultivator, is excellent at avoiding near field obstacles when using the hired hand (much better than the CaseIH 470 which was tested alongside the 9R, and I like the Case).

Each engine received custom torque curves and fuel flow edits. All the old sound files were replaced and new ones custom edited (sounds more like a big, low RPM tractor engine now IMO). Lights were all brought up to FS17 spec... with twelve cab mounted worklights you can work all night with 360 degrees of vision. Taillights, brakelights, turn signals and beaconlights are all fully functional.

Some of the texture files were edited and new speculars fitted. The paint and finish aren't perfect, but it's good enough for who (and what) it's for... Optimized the file, removed old files, and generally tried to better organize the mod's file structure -- reduced its file size by approximately one-third (11.5Mb).

Since this is my first full conversion, you should expect an error or two. Don't think you'll find any, but I've been wrong before. This is a plowhorse, not a show horse and was one of my mainstays in FS15. Converted it for personal use, but it turned out better than expected. Hopefully you'll find it useful and reliable as well.

Version Note: Some users have experienced flickering and texture rendering issues. Have removed all the default_normal references in <materials> to resolve this issue. If you experience this issue (or have any other problems with the mod) please see the support thread.
